
SUMER AL-GHADIER, Iraq – An Iraqi boy waves an Iraqi flag during a distribution event April 1 in the city of Sumer Al-Ghadier, located in the 9 Nissan district of eastern Baghdad. District and National Police officials handed out clothes and school supplies to more than 60 orphan children during the event. Officials invited Paratroopers assigned to the Company C, 2nd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad, to participate in the event in honor of National Orphan Day.
