Motion: Keep present board of directors from all Associations. Directors to be elected from the floor, and add six (6) SGM’S

Allen Larson volunteered to write new by-laws for Submission at Ft Bragg. 1SG Fourtunia to inform all BN SGM’S of rules change. Six (6) SGM’S to be:

82d BSB

3d BSTB

 

Motion: Allen Larson recommended pay on line be implemented with the membership application on the P.A. web site. (PAY PAL) 2d Ed Herlihy.

 

Tom Twomey via the mail asked to be relieved of primary responsibility for the web page.

 

Motion: Bert Schmitz that Mark Christianson assume the Web Master position.

Barbara Gavin Fauuntleroy drew ticket for P.A.Winner J P Knott

 

Carl Bludau proposed a picnic during AAW for family participation.(TBD)

 

Wheeler Small suggested an evening meal to replace P.A. Brunch.

 

 

lSG Anthony Fourtunia representing Col McGuire gave a power point presentation. 1SG Fourtunia’s presentation was exceptionally done. He answered all questions to everyone’s satisfaction leaving no doubt as to the mission and the price paid by the 3rd Brigade.

 

The Panther Association hosted Russell R Danley 82d Trooper Of  The Year also a member of the 505 PIR. He joined us for brunch and received a life membership in the

Panther Association. Barbra Gavin Fauntleroy presented the trooper with her book The General and His Daughter. Mark Christianson Chicago Chapter Chairman sponsored wounded trooper Mackensie Miller‘s trip to the convention and Panther Association brunch. Bill Eberle Vandervoort chapter Chairman sponsored wounded trooper Daniel Gomez’s trip to the convention and Panther Association brunch. Both troopers are members of the 505PlR they were given life membership’s in the Panther Association by Association floor vote.

 

President Dick Young suggested the Panther Association reimburse P.A. representative at 11 Nov wreath laying at Arlington Natl. Cemetery a percentage of their travel expense.

The Association was honored to have Archbishop of New Orleans Rev. Phillip Hannan who has a combat jump with the 505 RCT WWII as an honored guest he is also a charter

Life member of the Panther Association.
