Paratroopers from the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, depart for a 12-month deployment to Iraq Friday from Pope Air Force Base’s Green Ramp. The brigade’s mission is to partner with Iraqi security forces to ensure safety for the citizens of Baghdad.
